What ages are these parties designed for?
The packages are built for ages 5–12, and they adapt well for teens. Younger siblings can usually join with a shortened service — just mention the age range in your inquiry and we'll shape the activities around it.
How long does a party last?
About two hours for most parties. The exact length depends on your guest count and how many activities you've chosen — a Petite Retreat for six runs shorter, a Signature party for twelve runs longer.
Are the products safe for children?
Yes. Everything we bring is non-toxic, mess-conscious and safe for sensitive skin, and all nail services are performed by licensed technicians. Let us know about any allergies or sensitivities ahead of time and we'll adjust the product lineup.
How does the hair tinsel work — and how does it come out?
The tinsel is a clip-in extension, not a tied or glued strand. It attaches with a small clip, holds through the party, and comes out in seconds with no pulling, no cutting and no products needed — you or your child can take it out at home whenever you like. Nothing is permanent and nothing is left behind in the hair.
How does staffing work for a bigger group?
Each nail technician handles up to 6 guests. Parties of more than 7 guests total, including the birthday child, add a second technician for a $100 staffing fee. Past 10 guests total we also add a second event assistant for $100, bringing your team to two technicians and two assistants so the activity rotation never stalls.
What are gratuity and travel fees?
A 20% gratuity is added to the total party package and goes directly to the technicians and assistants who worked your party. A travel fee is calculated by distance to your address. Both appear itemized in your proposal before you book — you'll always see the full number in advance.
How much space do you need?
A table, plus seating for the guests and the nail technicians. We've run parties in apartments, function rooms and finished basements. If you're unsure, send a photo of the space with your inquiry.
What time can you come?
Standard party hours are 11am to 4:30pm. Earlier or later times are often possible depending on availability, with an after-hours fee quoted in your proposal.
How far in advance should I book?
Three to four weeks is comfortable for most dates. Weekend afternoons and the spring birthday season book up first, so reach out earlier if your date is fixed. Last-minute requests are always worth asking about.
Do you travel outside Greater Boston?
Regularly. Towns beyond our standard radius are quoted with a travel fee stated clearly in your proposal, so you see the full number before committing.
How do I hold my date, and what if I need to reschedule?
A non-refundable deposit and a signed contract reserve your date and your team, with the balance due before the party. Your contract spells out the reschedule window in plain language — life happens with kids, so reach out as early as you can and we'll do our best to move you.
